My name is Tawny up until Aug 18th 2006 I was employed as nursing assistant with our local hospice I am now handicapped. I have short term disability insurance thru my company it was filed on Sept 1st I still have not recieved a payment! This is now the 27th of Sept I have called a lawyer he said nothing can be done unless they deny my claim. My savings are gone I am about to lose my car and I cant pay my lot rent My disability is now permanent.I have a computer in my home that i am using to do customer service work However it will take a good two weeks to get a decent check.I am NOT looking for a handout just a helping hand to get thru this time My daughter is living with a friend because I cant take care of her now Has anybody else been here? How do you get immediate help?
